Why do I read? There are many reasons… First of all I read
for just the enjoyment of reading. It’s the best feeling to be reading a page
turner that you just can’t put down. When you find a good book that you can’t
put down and when you finish it you want to find another book that duplicates
the same interest. I read also because a lot of my friends enjoy reading and
it’s interesting to compare thoughts on various books we have all read. Then
there’s school requirements. I am assigned those books but most of the books I
have been assigned by teachers I end up enjoying in the end. I also read
because when I find a good series it encourages me to read various books. I may
not always read as much as I should be…. But when I find a good book I can’t
put it down. Especially when I find a good author who’s writing styles I really
like I tend to read more of their books. So I may be a little picky (or really
really really picky) about what I read but there are a lot of reasons why I read.
